True to Soul

True to Soul
We see so much suffering among our fellow humans and I see that they think it is normal and part of life, like, hey, life is a vale of tears and has its ups and downs, ok? And because I see so many of my fellow primates checking out in what they think are responsible ways, like Eastern meditation and pretty destructive ways, especially the mindless sinkhole of tv, the use of antidepressants and drinking and the ranting, dishonest religions clearly built on fantasy and very earthly scams of power-tripping. And what I’ve decided is that we’ve pretty much given up and turned our backs on tens of thousands of years of very rich, good, cool experiences, skills and understandings that sit inside us, unused and overwhelmed by stress and mental yakyak – and, instead of trying to recover this rich, passionate, fascinating landscape which is our natural heritage, I see scads of people calling the mind our foe and trying to dumb it down with Eastern meditation. This book is about how to rescue mind, not do to it what the Victorians and the godly did to sex – make it an enemy and try to get rid of it. Our minds are good and beautiful.
